Fiamma AFK

Product was not the same as pictures viewed when ordering. Installation instructions were not provided. Plastic paddle broke when it slipped from position. Adjusting screws stripped the thread in hole when loosened, preventing them from tightening again. Replacement paddle was broken when package was opened. Good product, but the plastic bits need to be replaced with far stronger material. On a positive, the Warranty team was very helpful and efficient. Couldn't really recommend it until stronger materials used for the paddles

Anti - flap kit storage bag

Bought this to replace the original bag that came with the kit. This one is much better as is more compact when closed making it easier to slide it into the caravan cargo space. A third velcro strap on the end would've been good - we have added our own.

Anti Flap Kit

It looks great. However I haven’t been able to fit it on the Fiamma f80s awning which is on a Mercedes Sprinter campervan. I rang around your service people close to here and they all said they don’t know how to fit it to that awning. I sort of had a break thinking about it but would love it to work. Can you recommend anyone around the Newcastle area that could fit it for me. Thanks Peter

Apart from the four slots for the anti-flap rods themselves, there were only two slots for the curved rafters. I have three so one slot shares two curved rafters. I found once rolled up the Velcro straps were too short. I'll have to get some longer ones made up. The actual quality of the bag is good but the things mentioned above let it down.

We lost our awning earlier this year during a midnight deluge which prompted me into action after a lengthy wait for a repair. I have also had concerns about leaving the motorhome for extended periods in case the weather changed. The anti-flap kit and curved rafters gives the awning much needed stability and strength, as well as peace of mind.

I installed the anti flap system over the weekend it’s easy to do only issue I had was that where brackets were to be affixed to was where the awning runner so I dropped the bracket down across all 4 locations and it worked out ok. Great piece of equipment.
